Does it take stock? I'm not really in the know about camera's.

I think the answer to that question is YES! They take film stock (this one evidently only 100ft rolls (about 2.5 minutes of footage) but you can get 400ft magazines for this camera).

Its as sturdy as hell, you can kick it about as much as you like, BUT, it is VERY noisy and not suitable for synch sound work (even if you have a crystal motor - one that runs at a constant speed)

That's true. This camera is quite load when running.

I myself shot my films silent first then dubbed it later. I know this takes up time but it's an effective way.

I'm selling it because I no longer have the time to use it now that I'm working three jobs :-)

It's in very condition and worth the asking price (I've seen other people sell it for around ?1500!).
